Dr. Fisun Vural
Dr. Fisun Vural is a highly accomplished medical professional with extensive expertise in obstetrics, gynecology, and andrology. Currently serving as the Head of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Haydarpaşa Numune Research and Teaching Hospital in Istanbul, Turkey, she is a respected figure in her field. Therefore known for her contributions to both clinical practice and research.
Dr. Fisun Vural’s academic journey began at Marmara Medical School, where she earned her medical degree in 1996. Following this, she pursued specialized training in obstetrics and gynecology at Kocaeli University School of Medicine. From 1997 to 2002, she worked as a medical doctor at Kocaeli University’s Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics. Basically honing her skills in patient care and medical research. Her dedication and expertise eventually led her to her current position at Haydarpaşa Numune Research and Teaching Hospital. Where she has been a professor since March 2013.
Throughout her career, Dr. Fisun has focused on several critical areas within women’s health, including reproductive endocrinology, urogynecology, and reproductive healthcare. Her research has also explored the intersection of obesity and gynecological health, contributing valuable insights to this growing area of concern.
